Sermon notes! Check if u had miss out anything.. u mite =p

God uses the burning bush to get Moses's attention.. what does God have to do to get yours?
you may not be as great as moses, but God is still God who help Moses all along!
How can we be fruitful?

1.) Cultivate roots
Jeremiah 17:7-8
-If you have roots. u nid not worry..
-it helps u to get through droughts, heat periods
-you nid roots to make it thru tough times!

a banana tree is almost indestructible as it can always live as long as it still has roots!
roots are the lifelines of nourishment for the whole plant!
the redwood tree can survive forest fires! imagine that! that is also due to its roots

roots are the keys to fruitfulness..
Proverbs 12:3
a righteousness man cannot be uprooted.. the catcus can survive high temperature is also due to its deep roots which go deep down to get water!

Colossians 2:6-7
-walk in Him, but how to cultivate roots?
spend time wif HIM! your QT!

2.) pull out the weeds
Luke 8:11-14
-Sin is attractive, it looks good!
three basic types of weeds
-weed of worry, :everyday cares that demands ur attention
-weed of riches, :materialism
-weed of pleasure, :activities that chokes up ur spiritual life!
in gardening, weed is a sign of neglect.. do not neglect ur spiritual life wif God
=]] the weed will grow on its own.. better remove it ASAP!

3.) partnering wif God
-let Him prune ur life, shape ur life!
John 15:1-2
-God prunes those that bear fruits for better crops
pruning = cutting dead branches and shaping live branches to stimulate growth!

4.) be patient and wait for the harvest!
growth takes time.. wait for God! =]]
