some people might say that we are onli having a conference hype.. tat means we r onli passionate for God when there is a conference! well.. God invented "hype" =D haha..

Hebrews 12:1-2
- there are mani witnesses tat are cheering us on the race to God! let's us finish it!
the onli thing bad abt hype is when u "destroy" the hype! There is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong in being hyped all the time! haha.. =D

Isaiah 60:1
-Look at God, and u will be filled wif joy.
-your joy should not be based on worldly things, it should be based on Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour...

Now! your hype will definitely drop a little after the conference.. tat's natural.. but u muz make full use of the conference! arbo waste time there meh >.<>
now.. how to make full use of it?
you muz grow, grow spiritually! change the way u live.. WWJD
always tink of What Would Jesus Do in all situations!

now u muz live up to the hype! how?

1.) look up!
pray, come to church.. stop looking at the little stones tat stab ur feet as u run the race!
like parental problems.. financial problems.. spiritual attacks.. Look up to God and seek help!

2.) Look forward!
Acts 4
look at the future! Singapore will be saved? ur family will be saved? ur spiritual life perfect?
now.. u may think how can it be perfect? u tink cannot.. cuz u got a wrong meaning of perfect.. perfect means mature or completed.. can u be spiritually matured? u sure can! haha =D

3.) Live it up!
-enjoy ur hype and enjoy ur life man!
Have a great time and be passionate for God! yea!

last but not least..
dun compare urself wif others.. or u will be bitter.. like.. eh why we go same conference he like more passionate? or he can experience God? dun be bitter! juz be passionate for God and God will look at ur heart =D

Smash the box u r living in! like for radical conference... some are afraid to ask cuz they "tink" their parents will not allow... pls la.. nv try how u noe? pray and try! smash the limits in u! some tink their frenz wun come to church.. pls la.. nv try how u noe? haha.. gogo.. smash the boxes or limits tat are limiting ur ability to serve and worship the Lord.. =D

zealot peeps listen UP!!
we haf a few prayer requests... and i am taking this seriously.. when u see these prayer request, pray on the spot.. and pray daily for them ! =D ok here we goooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

Julia's mum is going to church wif auntie helen if u all noe her, and we wanna pray tat her mum will not haf pride in her.. tat she will accept Jesus Christ and receive the salvation we all had! pray! pray for a softened heart...

Tricia's parents are not allowing Tricia to come church le.. but she wanna come! tats good.. the desire is there! and we gotta help by praying.. pray tat the parents will allow her to come and pray tat Tricia will stand firm in Christ even if persecution comes right up into her face.

Siewling is troubled tat her mum is not allowing her to come church too.. she has struggled wif this problem for years and it is time to get rid of the problem.. lets not count on human strength, but on God's strength.. tap on God's strength. by praying.. praying tat SL will be able to come church! tat her mum's heart will be softened and even be acceptive towards Christ!!!!

QinChing's mum has told her tat she gotta achieve 11 points in the o levels to be able to come church.. lets pray tat she can do it! God's wisdom can do it! pray tat she will not be too stressed up.. but instead.. she will find peace and wisdom in the Lord.. =D

Da ZhiWei is currently having his wedding planning now.. pray tat God's will will be done in tat marriage and pray tat he will not be too stressed.. keep him in prayers! =D

and now!!!! GREAT NEWS! Wei Sheng accepted Christ yesterday!!!! wooohooooo!!!
praise the Lord! God's is adding onto zealot.. He is bringing salvation! praise Him! den.. continue to pray for more salvation! yea! =D

it is a culture in zealot to pray for their disciples DAILY! do u all get me? daily! if u realised tat u haf been doing tat, give urself a pat on the back! if u realised tat u haf not, dun blame urself or feel guilty.. for that will be of no help! juz start TODAY! to pray for ur disciples! daily! u r their shepherd! cover them wif prayers!

ok.. i juz haf one thinking rite now.. i am posting sermon notes.. and wat u guys can receive is wat i tink is impt.. wat i tink is good.. hmm.. if u still dun understand..

all of us haf an addictive trait..

Every lie holds a captive, for every captive, there is truth in Christ tat sets him free.
try to medidate awhile on this phrase.. it helps =D

ppl hu created online games juz wanna make $$ out of ppl..
they always find out wat attracts ppl and use that element to enslave ppl into playing their game.
they focus on wat ppl lacks in real life.
players want power and they will pay for it..
players feel wanted when they are in game.. maybe we r letting ppl feel unwanted in rl? tink!

sometimes, ur virtual frenz become more impt den ur real life frenz and family..
now when u noe tat, u gotta CHANGE! the first step is always the most difficult.. u can ask a baby who is trying to learn how to walk =p

freedom from addiction

1.) admit tat u haf an addiction
if u dun admit, even God cant help u.. noe why? cuz God nv force Himself on us =D
John 8:32--- the truth shall set u free..

2.) recognise that there are 2 world. the fantasy world, and the REAL world
the cries of teens .. meaning the thing tat teens nid lar! =p
trust, love, security, purpose, to be heard, to be valued, for support..
put God first, and God will trust u, love u, secure u, give u a purpose. hear u, value u, and gives u support =D

3.) recognise u dun belong to urself but to God..

CHOICES
obedience

in order to obey, we haf to die to ourselves..
Galatians 2:20 (as u see this verse. this is a memory verse for us.. rmb it? ) =p
once we accept Jesus into our lives, we no longer live.. we obey..

1.) live by the word and not by the world.
Hebrews 4:12--- hold on to this verse.

1.) the word is living..
when u r down, weak and hopeless... you live by the word!
all things will pass.. even heaven and earth.. but the word is forever..
1Timothy 4:10
where do u put ur hope on? man or God?

2.) the word is active..
why do we feel so empty after SNL? or why do we feel passionate for God onli on sat?
we left out the active ingredient
James 1:21-22
practice the word of God.. dun juz listen.. DO.

3.) the word will penetrate..
it will penetrate in all aspects of life..
Isaiah 55:11
we read the word to live by the word.. so if u nv do ur qt.. u nv read the word.. how can u ever live by the word? start doing ur qt today if u haven start.. continue doing it for those hu have been doing =D

2.) live a life of conviction
imagine now.. u r faced at gunpoint.. will u renounce Jesus.. will u deny Jesus?
people die for their convictions
hang on to ur conviction..
christianity is not a convenient religion..
since the world hated Jesus.. we as His disciples should expect to be hated too..
when u sin, u muz repent and recover from it.. dun dwell anymore in ur forgiven sins..
you use God's strength.. be a youth after God's heart..

now.
why do so mani young people loves online gaming and is more often den not addicted to it?
online gaming provides a person emotional needs..
online gaming is a way of escape for some ppl.. for example.. some of them might be rejected in life.. but they are high level in games so they get some recognition from online gaming..

now.. how do we check upon ourselves and see whether we are addicted to online gaming?

many points.. so take note of it..

-inability to stop the activity
-neglect of family and friends
-lying to employers and family abt the online gaming activites
-problems wif sch and jobs
-carpel tunnel syndrome <-- now.. i realli dun understand why.. but... i forgotten wat is this.. hehe.. pls ask other members of zealot.. or would some kind soul add it into the sermon notes? =D thankssssssssss
-Dry eyes
-failure to attend to personal hygiene
-sleep disturbances or changes in sleep patterns
-feeling depressed , irritable when not in front of the computer
-craving for more and more time at the computer
-skip appointments, skip classes, miss days of work =(
-do you deny addiction to games but still feels the urge to play? =D
-do u feel stronger emotions when u r gaming online? (angry.. sad.. happy..) =D
-for some games.. do you feel joy and kill someone online? =x

ok la.. see these points to find out whether u r addicted to online gaming. this can be a gauge to see if u r addicted to juz the computers or not..
