How to recognise God's will?

Bro rx is sharing and he began by talking abt 2 types of ppl.. God-centered and self-centered.

GOD-centered ppl
-They are confident in God, dependent on God, focused on God, humble b4 God, seek His kingdom first, seek His perspective first.
Genesis 39
-Joseph was a God-centered person, he resisted temptations right on his door!
Numbers 14:8-9
-2 out of 12 spies say God will help us, these are the God-centered ppl!

2Chronicles 14:11
-King Asa was facing a strong oppposition in war! But he had faith and prayed! God-centered.


SElf-centered.
self-centeredness is a subtle trap. God-centeredness may make no sense from a human perspective.
God-centeredness requires a daily dying to self.
John 12:24-25

1.) Get our hearts right.
feelings? ambitions? desires? lies?
We muz see from God's perspective! not ours!
Genesis 6:5-6
God was talking to Noah, and he reacted by obeying!
We do not sit down and dream of wat we wan to do for God and ask Him to help us. His will, not ours ok!
Exodus 2:11-15
Moses noe God's will but He took it into his own hands!
our plans shd be modified to fit into God's tiny and perfect plan!
did we even ask God for His plans?

2.) get our priorities in the right order. how?
-depend on God. our weakness shd be the catalyst to drive us to depend on God.
Isaiah 40:29
-He gives strength to the weak.
Philippians 4:13
Christ will strengthen us!

3.) Hear from the right person
-Bible says seek wise counsel.
Matthew 4:4
-Comes/Proceed (depending on ur bible translation version)
it is present tense! WHEE!! NOW!!
Don't hear from ppl who will not tell u what God says.
you need to hear God's voice, dun depend on a formula.

4.) do the right things.
our pre-concepetion of God conflicts with Him.
dun set for urself a boundary.. for example.. fast onli can 39 days.. cannot be more den Jesus ah...
dun allow a fixed pattern, we nid to hear and then obey Him..
The key is... :a relationship wif GOD!
Psalms 81:10
-Sincerely seek God's direction
-wait patiently for God to speak
-wait for Holy spirit to teach u thru God's word
