This will be the last post before i go to thailand for mission trip!! haha =p

now some matters to settle...

-6pm to 6.40pm

Ken's core
-6.40pm to 7.20pm

Derek's core
-7.20pm to 8pm

these are the prayer coverage for the various core groups. please pray for the mission trippers for the whole 40 mins.
ppl, stay faithful to God and be spiritually independent..

-Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another, towards love and good deeds and all the more as the Day approaches!

Hi, this is the sermon notes.. been rather busy.. haha..

worship is life, life is worship.
2 types of worship.
word worship, action worship.
you dun haf to use super-sized words when u tok to God.. (e.g thee, thou, brethen)
-It juz need to be from the heart, genuine!

Roman 12:1
-worship = serving = life
God is so great and infinite! YET He loves the puny us!!
Dun treat God like a small fry.. God never ages, He do not need upgrading.. He is perfect!
Roman 11:33-36
Isaiah 40:26
-He ALONE is perfect.
He is also intimately approachable..

Psalms 113:5-6
-God is great, yet He chose to humble Himself and understand the things in heaven and on earth..
He noes everything abt u.. even things that u dunno abt urself!
worship is a combination of these
(fear Him and love Him)
God is not contended wif lip service.
He wants words followed by actions..
what u say, how u say.. and whether u mean it..
our words mean most when they are amplified by actions..
worship is our response, personal or coporate, to God for who He is, what He is, what He has done by wat we say or do..

Test of worship is more of what we do den wat we say..
we gotta give God everything..
worship involves sacrifice..
Hebrews 13:15-16
-worship and praise Him continually!
how? by living according to His word.
God says,,
"Everything u are is me!
"Everything u have is mine!

yoyo sermon notes are back! b4 that..
19/11, 26/11 Youth Impact is having mission trip fund (fun.. =p) raising events.. Do come down to support.. =]] the food is great.. i tried it first-hand =x

ok sermon notes! =]]

The power to change ur life.. (<<<>
A great tragedy is a wasted life.
among the top 15 books, 10 are self-improvement books!
WHY?!
it is because, ppl wants change.. they noe wat they are doing is wrong.. and they nid changes in their lives.. but most of them dunno how.. we noe! =]]
books do not gives us the power to change.. it onli tells us wat to do.
it is like.. a manual teach u how to drive a car.. not drive the car for u =x
permanent change muz be from the inside.. and onli God can change ur inside.
Phil 3:10 , Eph 1:19-20
Resurrection power = to cancel ur past.. AND conquer ur problems and change ur personality..
to change.. =]]

1.) Crisis phase
-it is to get our attention
if u wan changes, u haf to get fed up.. get sick and tired of something..
God wants u to grow up.. He doesn't create the crisis.. He allows the crisis to come into ur life..

2.) commitment phase
-Jacob was persistent.. he waited for God to turn it around! God do not change ur problems juz as soon as u pray..n He will test u and see if ur relying on Him is genuine! dun give up praying! dun pray one time and say.. God cant do it.. for God always can do it! =]
u take 6 weeks to develop a habit! make ur qt a habit today! =]]
we takes years to get into what we are today.. God takes time to peel it off layer by layer! =]]

3.) Confession phase
God will not help uhs.. unless we admit.
we are experts in blaming other ppl!
Hebrews 13:2
-some of the ppl u help might be angels catching u doing good deeds =]

4.) co-operation phase
God will begin to change us into princess and princes of God.
God touched our strongest part to let u rmb.. that u need to depend on Him.. touched means.. let it collaspe.. so one day let's say.. ur discipleship wif ur disciple fails.. WHY?! ask urself.. is it becuz u haf relying on urself instead of God? dun make this mistake. wait and pray till God arrives =]]
