yoz...this will be a weekly post.. it is a summary of wat has been talked about during SNL.. this actually helps 2 kind of ppl.. first.. those hu are unable to come for snl.. second.. those hu forgot abt wat has been talked or is slping thru the service.. haha =p in order to receive or give
love.. u muz first noe wat is
love. true
love does produce feelings.. but it is more den juz feelings.. some people says tat
love in uncontrollable.. however.. the Bible says tat
love can be controlled..
love is a matter of choice.. 1 John 3:18 says tat
love is not juz words.. it should be in actions and deeds..
there are four types of
love by the greeks..
1.)
Storge - Natural affections
2.)
Eros - erotic,sexual attractions3.)
philia - emotional affections4.)
Agape - unconditional love.. like how God loves us.. =D
love is a commitment to act. u muz
love even the ones u dun like.. for the Bible says tat treat ur enemies well.. Romans 12:19-21 there are 5 ways to
love others/enemies
1:)
experience God's love.. Ephesian 3:17-18 God wans us to feel and understand His
love.. 1 John 4:19 we love because God first love us.. unloved people are often unloving people. We dun depend on the feeling with Jesus.. like some ppl always say.. OH!!! i cant FEEL God... that's not wat we r looking for.. We wan to EXPERIENCE GOD ourselves!! alrite?
2.)
forgive ur enemies.. Colossians 3:13 forgive them as God forgive u.. Fact: 1/3 and 1/7 of women and men respectively are being abused in their lives.. oh man... Ps Daniel said tat when u dun forgive ppl.. u r giving them a piece of ur heart.. it makes ur heart incomplete! so u will feel hatred .. u do not forgive because they deserve it.. u forgive them because u wan ur heart to be whole! Matthew 6:14-15 If u do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive ur sins.. so forgive for ur own sake.. Forgiveness is not a matter between u and the offender.. it is between you and God..

Think loving thoughts.. Focus on other ppl's trouble too, nt juz ur own.. to simplify it.. it means putting urself into someone else shoes.. and there is one funny phrase.. haha.. hurt ppl hurt ppl.. got it? =p
4.)
you gotta act in love.. if u choose to act happy when u r sad.. soon enuff.. u will feel happy b4 u even notice it.. if u choose to feel sad.. u will be sad.. Luke 6:27-28 do good,bless,pray for enemies! (The tongue of the wise brings healing)
5.) last but not least..
Expect the best out of them. Love expects the best.. i am not sure but i am thinking tat God expects the best of of those whom he loves (Us).. correct me if i am wrong =D how we treat others/enemies = how they will be/treat other ppl..
this ends my summary.. might haf left out a point or 2.. wat i am gonna do now is to act happy when i am sad(though v rare for me =p ) and put myself in other ppl shoes and forgive...
